It's amazing to me that it's been as long as it has and it still carries the emotional weight it does. My heart goes out to the families of the victims, as I can even imagine the daily struggle they must endure. I'm just starting to be able to consider it in a historical context, and view footage of the day, without profound sadness.
I guess our generation has that defining event we will never forget. Unfortunately.
